LASE Fest isn’t your traditional event. With the freedom to shape your day, explore topics and engage in activities that matter most to you. Watch this short video for a taster of what’s to come.
Want to know more?
We’re highlighting some of the colleague-led activities taking place at LASE Fest. Using the Event App (coming soon), you’ll be able to build your own programme from a range of showcase sessions, campus tours and interactive activities.
We asked some of these colleagues three simple questions: why they’re excited about LASE Fest, what they're doing, and why you should book on to their sessions. Here's what they told us...
Fabienne Williams, Senior Content and Brand Manager, University of Greenwich Stall: Brand and Marketing

- I'm excited about: the great opportunity the event presents in bringing colleagues together from across the University Group. It's a chance to meet people, celebrate the start of our new chapter, and have conversations that will help shape how we work together as LASE.
- I'm running: a stall which will showcase the new Day 1 LASE brand, including the logos, templates, digital assets and practical guidance that has already been shared with colleagues. Come along, explore the new resources, ask questions.
Come and visit because: you have questions, suggestions, or ideas that are LASE brand-related. Whether you're unsure which logo to use, when to use LASE alongside the University of Greenwich or the University of Kent or simply want to understand what the Day 1 brand means for your role, come and have a chat. There are no silly questions - we're here to help.

---
- I'm excited about: connecting with colleagues, exchanging ideas, and discovering different approaches to supporting Student Success across our two institutions
- I'm running: a showcase that will explore how we have approached Academic Advising support at the University of Kent to provide a more consistent, equitable and meaningful experience for every student
- Come and visit because: we’ll be sharing institutional data showing how the Academic Advising framework has been adopted across the University, alongside what’s been learnt through its implementation and ongoing evaluation

---
- I'm excited about: meeting more Greenwich colleagues and discussing how we can collaborate on future initiatives
I'm running: a tour that will highlight the main campus, some of our key buildings and I’ll even be sharing a few of my favourite spots
- Come and visit because: you’ll get the inside scoop on the history of the buildings and their uses over time as well as what activities go on in them now.
These are just a few of the colleague-led activities taking place at LASE Fest. Keep an eye out for the next featured sessions and remember to build your personalised programme using the Event App when it launches.
