Why come to an Open Day?

TLDRoffon

You can find out a lot about a university online but to really get a feel for what it's like to live and study here you should come and visit.

On our Open Days you can look around the campus, check out our accommodation and even take part in taster study sessions. You also get the opportunity to speak with current students and the academics who teach here.

BA history student Megan Rowlands says it was the friendliness she experienced at our Open Day that led her to choose Greenwich.

You can get to know the campus where you will be studying – Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway. Check our programme pages to find out the right location to book.

Get the most out of your Open Day

There are lots of talks and sessions throughout the day so decide which ones you definitely want to attend and plan your visit.

You may want to take photos of the campus, student accommodation and teaching facilities. It's also worth jotting down a few notes on your phone or notepad while everything is fresh in your mind.

Make a list of questions you want to ask. As well as academic staff and students, there will be representatives from admissions, accommodation, student finance and the Students' Union.
