Dr Alexander Guschanski
Associate Professor in Economics
Alexander Guschanski joined the University as a lecturer in August 2018. He holds a BSc in Economics from the Free University of Berlin, an MA in Political Economy from Kingston University London and a PhD in Economics from the University of Greenwich.
His research in labour economics focuses on the determinants of income distribution and unemployment. His research in international economics looks at the determinants of global imbalances. A large part of his empirical work is based on microeconometric analyses using industry- and firm-level data.
