Edward Stubbs BA, FCMA, MSc

Edward Stubbs is studying for a PhD in Economics. His research topic is the impact of natural resource extraction on a range of outcomes (economic, social, and institutional), especially in light of the green transition over the coming decades. Understanding these impacts will assist policies to ensure the maximum benefit flows from the resources. His supervisors are Luca Tasciotti, Mehmet Ugur, Navjot Sangwan and Robert Calvert Jump.

After a BA in Economics from Wolverhampton Polytechnic, Edward had a career in Marketing, Retail and Real Estate, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. In recent years, he has been Director of a business importing and selling goods from Peru, including from a shop in Greenwich.

Further studies in economics prior to his PhD included a Postgraduate Certificate in Economics from Birkbeck College and an MSc in Economics at Greenwich.
