Michael Ottley
Senior Lecturer in Law
Mike is a commercial lawyer with over 25 years' experience of teaching and researching the subject to a wide range of law, accounting and business students. He teaches at undergraduate and postgraduate level and has recently been developing online materials for teaching purposes. Since 2000, Mike has been an external examiner at a number of post-1992 universities. He has written a number of articles and texts in the field.

Research / Scholarly interests
Mike's interests within commercial law include company law, contract law and business law. He has written over 20 books and articles in these areas. His most recent publications include Briefcase on Contract Law (Cavendish), Business Law by Rush and Ottley (Thompson Learning) and Q&A Company Law (Routledge).
