Paul-Sylvester Ajani-Makam has been a PhD Researcher at the University of Greenwich since September 2021. His main research interest is the Green Economy as a Mechanism for Stimulating Sustainable Tourism Development in Nigeria. Paul-Sylvester holds a MSc in Geography of Tourism from University of Sofia “Kliment Ohridski”, MSc in Tourism Management from University of Surrey (UK), a MSc in Education/PGCert from University of London (UK), and PGDip in Leadership and Management from Brunel University (UK).

Before joining the University of Greenwich, Paul was a Lecturer and Curriculum lead in Business/Travel and Tourism with ten years of experience in Further Education Colleges.  As well as his research work, Paul-Sylvester has been leading two tutorial sessions in Marketing with undergraduate students on the BA (Hons) Marketing at Greenwich Business School since 2022.
