Dr Catherine Maffioletti
Associate Head of Research & Knowledge Exchange; Practice Hub Lead
I am a practicing feminist performance artist of mixed heritage. My artworks are made in collaboration with practitioners and in response to new and emergent experiences of difference and subjectivities with specific focus on performance arts and the representation of hysteric subjectivities.
I am an arts and design educator and also work as a researcher in a design research team on 'Empowering Youth through Entrepreneurial Skills' (EYES) project (2018 – 2021) funded €4.28million by the European Union. We are developing a digital tool for young people who aren't in education, training or employment (NEETS) to better connect them with the local support they need in regions of North-West Europe.

Awards
Empowering Youth through Entrepreneurial Skills (EYES), a €4.28million EU funded project (2018 – 2021) was granted an award, on the 5th of December 2019, for strongest research impact out of 83 North-West Europe, European Union, Interreg projects that are currently running.
