Key details

Dr Catherine Maffioletti

Associate Head of Research & Knowledge Exchange

I am a practicing feminist performance artist of mixed heritage. My artworks are made in collaboration with practitioners and in response to new and emergent experiences of difference and subjectivities with specific focus on performance arts and the representation of hysteric subjectivities.

I am an arts and design educator and also work as a researcher in a design research team on 'Empowering Youth through Entrepreneurial Skills' (EYES) project (2018 – 2021) funded €4.28million by the European Union. We are developing a digital tool for young people who aren't in education, training or employment (NEETS) to better connect them with the local support they need in regions of North-West Europe.
