Louise joined the University of Greenwich in 2014 having previously worked in Presentation Graphics in the City of London, copy-editing for a variety of publishers and a period of time working as an actor.

She began at the university working on the Medway Campus where she transferred her technical and management skills to the role of postgraduate (taught) administrator for the Medway School of Pharmacy. There she co-ordinated four main distance learning programmes plus associated short courses taking students from first interest, application and registration to qualification and graduation. She managed admissions, marketing, quality processes, student data, record keeping, logistics, timetabling, finance, exam boards, graduation and programme planning. She worked in a team of academics and healthcare professionals and had one assistant.

She joined School of Design in February 2020 as the School Administration Manager. She manages a team of professional services staff ensuring smooth running of the School for students and staff. She is responsible for the strategic planning and the operational delivery of all the administrative functions of the school. She works with a team of administrators to deliver admissions and applicant interviews, registration, tutor allocation, timetable planning, financial reporting, exam boards, events and event marketing, and day-to-day queries.

Key skills and qualities: qualified manager, excellent communications skills (written, spoken, presentations), advanced technical skills on a wide variety of software, experience in handling complex financial models, coaching for managers, good problem solver, efficient, well organised, good-humoured and versatile.
