“Some of My Most Treasured Memories Were Made at The University of Greenwich”

Former Psychology student Rhio-Amber tells us about her experience at the University of Greenwich

"I chose the University of Greenwich as I felt they had the most to offer on the Psychology programme. I also liked the look of the campus." Explained Rhio-Amber who studied with us on the BSc honours Psychology programme.

"I treasure my three years spent at Greenwich, I spent some of my greatest years there. I made amazing friends, memories and really enjoyed my course too. I enjoyed the different modules on the course, the teaching methods of the lecturers and the support they offered to us."

After completing her course, Rhio-Amber went on to study a Master's in Forensic Psychology. She currently works at the YMCA Trinity as an Accommodation Project Worker. This role includes working with homeless young people that may be struggling with drug and alcohol abuse, offending, sexual exploitation and poor mental health.

Rhio-Amber goes on to praise the teaching staff at the University. She states that all the lecturers were very knowledgeable and supportive of the students. She added that they were great role models for those just starting out on their psychology journeys. Rhio-Amber also told us how she made some good friends at the university, including some who remain friends to this day.

When asked if she would recommend the course, Rhio-Amber told us "Yes, I would most definitely recommend studying Psychology at the University of Greenwich. Some of my most treasured memories were made at this University. And of course the programme itself was well planned and enjoyable." She goes on to explain "Psychology is a tough and competitive road, but if you work hard and stay motivated then it will pay off."
