Welcome to the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences

We transform the lives of students by providing an education that enables them to become creative and confident contributors to society.

  • I had hoped to start my training for the ambulance service at Greenwich as I knew it was one of the most respected degrees of its type in the country. I also found the lecturers had real drive and passion for the teaching and, most importantly, for supporting its students.

    - Gareth Harper, BSc Hons Paramedic Science (London)

  • I loved the experiences and learning environment of Greenwich Uni, it really helped me grow as a person. All my tutors and lecturers are amazing at their job! They guided me in the right direction and were there for me whether I needed academic or personal support.

    - Christina Christoforou, Early Years, BA Hons

  • The wonderful lecturers and staff at the University of Greenwich have supported me through my degree and were everything I could have asked for. I have taken full advantage of all the social outlets and activities that are set up for students and have made some lifelong friends.

    - Claire Young, BSc Hons Children's Nursing

  • Greenwich was my first choice, as it had a reputation for high-quality teaching with research, as well as diverse statutory, voluntary and private-sector placement opportunities. From the moment I embarked on the programme, I have not been disappointed.

    - Mikhail Mohammed, BA Hons Social Work

How to find us

The faculty runs courses on all three campuses: Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway. For some subjects, you can choose Avery Hill or Medway as a location but you won’t need to travel between the two campuses. You can reach our campuses by car or via public transport (including bus and rail), with easy connections from airports in London.

The largest of our three campuses, Greenwich Campus sits on a World Heritage Site on the banks of the River Thames. It is centered on three baroque buildings designed by Sir Christopher Wren for the Royal Navy at the end of the 17th century.

You can find out more about it in our campuses section.
