Senior Leader Apprenticeship (Level 7)

Due to updated funding rules, the University is offering a final opportunity to join the two-year Senior Leader Apprenticeship (Level 7) from September 2025. Programme teaching takes place on Friday and is aimed at emerging leaders who are either AC3/AC4/AC5 or SG7 with a university-wide remit and SG8/SG9/SG10. 

A current staff apprentice says:

“The apprenticeship has helped to strengthen the strategic side of my career and enhanced my learning to ensure that when future career progression opportunities arise, I am ready to apply. Expressions of Interest Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (Level 6)

In collaboration with the Greenwich Business School, staff at the University can express interest in the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship/Leadership and Management Practise, BSc Hons. This 3-year programme funded by the apprenticeship levy, will be taught in blocks. Teaching in year one for example includes 1 week (5 full working days) on Greenwich campus per term and two webinars.

Further information

Funding for both apprenticeships will be drawn from the university’s Apprenticeship Levy with no cost to the learner or Faculty/Directorate.
