William Hills Scholarship

The William Hills Scholarship offers six students £2,000 each year for the duration of their 4-year MEng Mechanical Engineering degree. An additional two awards are available for two students on year two of their BEng Mechanical Engineering degree.

William Hills was an alumnus of the university who studied Mechanical Engineering at the former Woolwich Polytechnic. He was dedicated to the support and education of a new generation of engineers.

Royal Navy and Royal Marine Bursary

This bursary provides up to £3,000 per year for undergraduate students who have served in the Royal Navy or Royal Marines, or whose parents have a record of service.

Established in 1694, the Royal Hospital for Seamen (latterly known as Greenwich Hospital) was a home for retired seamen of the Royal Navy. Today they support students who are former members of the Royal Navy or Royal Marines or the children of current or former members.

John McWilliam Bursary

If you're an undergraduate student enrolled on certain courses in Architecture and Landscape, the John McWilliam Bursary could offer you £1,000 during each year of your studies.

The bursary was established in memory of our former Deputy Vice-Chancellor, John McWilliam OBE, a surveyor by trade, who was dedicated to the university for 20 years. Five bursaries of £1,000 are available for full-time UK students who started their programme of study in year one in 2020/21, within the department of Architecture and Landscape.

Robert Holman Bursary

This award is worth £1,000 for current students studying Accounting and Finance courses from Greenwich, Lewisham and Southwark.

The Trust was established by the family of Robert Holman in his memory in 2005 and supports a new generation of south Londoners, making their way in the field of Finance.

A bursary of £1,000 is available for one second-year and one third-year undergraduate student from Greenwich, Lewisham or Southwark and studying an Accounting and Finance course.
