Continuing our commitment to Net Zero by 2030

As we kick-off our road to COP26 we are excited to announce joining Planet Mark’s ZeroBy30 programme.

Planet mark logoHere at the University of Greenwich we are taking further strides towards our sustainability goals and our commitment to be carbon neutral by 2030. Our work has always been firmly placed in ensuring we act responsibly to ensure we reduce our carbon emissions and continue to reach our net zero goal.

In 2020 we joined the One Planet Pledge, signing to further affirm our commitment to ensuring climate action and sustainability are globally strengthened as we join other universities and companies embarking on this pledge.

In 2021, as we start our road to COP26 we are excited to announce we have joined the The Planet Mark’s #Zeroby30 programme.

2020 to 2030 is the most important 10 years for us and our planet. The Decade of Action, as called for by the United Nations, will determine the course of humanity. That is why we have decided to take transformational change across the university and are committing to reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2030 through Planet Mark’s ZeroBy30 programme. This decade is crucial and by working together we can create a thriving planet for all.
