How to collect/order a Covid Home Test Kit

TLDRoffon

This article summarises how students and staff can get Covid home test kits - which includes collecting from campus, community test sites and/or ordering online.

Many people who have Covid-19 don’t have symptoms, so getting tested regularly is an important part of keeping our university community safe.

It's important that we all keep testing - staff and students who are on campus should get a Covid-19 symptom free (LFD) test twice a week with 3-4 days between tests. This is part of our Covid-Safe Charter.

You should still get tested regularly if you have been vaccinated, because you can still get Covid-19 and spread it to others.  It's also important to take the right test to stop the spread of Covid-19.

Home test kits are available for collection at test sites and can also be ordered online

You can collect them from

  • GSU reception desks in Dreadnought Building (Greenwich campus) and the Dome (Avery Hill campus), between 10.00-16.00 Monday-Friday.
  • community test sites run by Greenwich council and Medway council, including the test sites at Daniel Defoe Hall (Greenwich campus) and the Sports Hall (Medway campus)
  • Department of Health & Social Care PCR test sites on our campuses (Devonport House at Greenwich, Avery Hill campus and Jellicoe Building car park, Medway - you will be directed to the collection point)
  • participating pharmacies, the NHS has a collection site finder that gives locations of test sites and pharmacies offering home kit collection and opening times.

Or you can order them online from the government's website.

Thank you for getting tested regularly, you're helping keep us - and your friends and family - safe.
