Are you sitting exams in April/May 2025?

Information for students sitting exams in April/May 2025.

To find out when and where your exams are taking place click on the 'Timetable' quick link at the top of the portal page; select 'My Timetable' and the weeks commencing 28 April; 5 May, and 12 May 2025.

Faculty of Engineering & Science PG students studying in the Schools of Computing & Mathematical Sciences; Engineering; Science or NRI exams will take place in the week commencing 14 and 21 April 2025.

If you did not commence your studies in either September or January, you may be sitting some or all, of your exams outside of the main exam periods, please ask your Module Leader or Lecturer for clarification.

Important Information

It is advisable to check your personal timetable regularly for any unavoidable changes. Please inform your Faculty Exams Office if you have difficulty accessing or cannot see one or all of your exams on your personal timetable.

You MUST bring your valid student ID card to the exam. You will not be permitted to sit your exam if you do not have your ID card with you. If you forget your ID card on the day, you can obtain a replacement card from the nearest Student Centre but will not be allocated extra exam time to do this.

Your exam venue may not be on the same campus you are taught, so please check the campus and location of your exam in advance to ensure you arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the exam starts. You will not be permitted to sit your exam if you arrive 30 minutes or more after the exam start time.

Unable to sit your exam?

If you are unable to sit your exam on the day due to factors outside your control, you should submit an online extenuating circumstances form through the portal no later than 7 calendar days after the exam date.
