Online Access Fund: For new UG & PG students towards equipment to support online learning

TLDRoffon

Remote learning has become an important part of life for students. We recognise that not all of our students may be able to access virtual learning spaces.

Therefore for 2020/21 we have dedicated funds to ensure that those without access to technology can apply for support towards the equipment they need to get online.

To be eligible for the Online Access Fund you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • You are a fully registered student at the University of Greenwich starting in September 2020, joining in Year 0 or Year 1.
  • You are studying at one of our campuses.
  • Your household income is below £25,000.
  • If you are studying an undergraduate course, you will receive the full maintenance loan from Student Finance England.
  • If you are studying a postgraduate course, you will receive a postgraduate loan and you have a clear plan for paying your course costs.

You must also consent to share information with the university to verify your entitlement to the Online Access award.
