SDG Teach In: Resources available now

The SDG Teach In campaign calls on all educators to pledge to include the UN Sustainable Development Goals into their teaching, learning and assessments throughout March (and beyond!).

The annual SDG Teach In is back, and will take place throughout the entire month of March 2023.

The SDG Teach In campaign calls on all types of educators to pledge to include the UN Sustainable Development Goals into their teaching, learning and assessments throughout the month (and beyond!).

The latest SOS research shows that 84% of students want to see sustainable development actively incorporated in their course, and the Teach In is a great opportunity to do this.

The teaching we do has a huge impact and can inspire our students to apply sustainability in their studies and importantly in their careers.

Are you an educator? You can make your SDG pledge now. Tell us which SDGs you pledge to incorporate into your training or teaching, and how many people you hope to reach.

Resources

The Sustainability Team has created a  video to support educators in SDG teaching. It includes an intro to sustainability, the SDG Teach in and some information about how staff can develop a sustainability lesson plan and access other teaching resources at Greenwich.

Please feel free to share among your networks – the more educators that take part the greater the impact we can make together.

Contact sustainability@gre.ac.uk if need any support or have any questions.

This initiative is part of the university’s ‘Green Greenwich’ programme and celebration of the work we can do to help make a positive impact on the world and its people. This initiative supports all SDGs.
