Elizabeth Barr
Head of Cisco Networking Academy UK, Ireland and Nordics
Elizabeth leads the Cisco Networking Academy programme in the UK, Ireland, and Nordics. The Cisco Networking Academy is an IT training and education programme that has reached over 24 million learners in 191 countries since programme inception in 1997. In her role, Elizabeth manages an ecosystem of 125,000 annual students and 500 organisations, including schools, charities, and prisons, to drive high performance standards and grow the programme. Elizabeth is passionate about making the tech industry a more diverse and inclusive space.
Pritesh Gadhia
UKI MD, Accenture Song
Since joining Accenture in 2001, Pritesh has been instrumental in delivering major digital transformations for some of the world’s leading brands. He played a key role in the formation and growth of Accenture Digital and went on to lead the UK and Ireland practice. Pritesh is now leading the digital transformation of one of the largest airlines in the Middle East. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a strong business leader, a practice developer, and a turnaround specialist, known for driving growth and delivering results. He prides himself on building and leading extraordinary teams of talented people, united by a commitment to reimagining experiences and improving the daily lives of consumers.
Tony Mann
Director/Senior Lead, Mathematics Centre, University of Greenwich
Tony Mann (he/him) has taught various areas of mathematics, computing, and digital media during his academic career, with a focus on helping students prepare for graduate employment. Previously, he worked on mathematical software in the engineering industry for ten years. He is proud of the achievements of his many former students who have progressed to impactful graduate careers in many different sectors.
Tom Cole
Senior Lecturer in Games Development, University of Greenwich
Tom is Senior Lecturer in Games Development at the University of Greenwich. His research is situated at the boundary of Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and Games Studies, and focuses on the broadening and deepening of emotional engagement in videogames. He organises game jams, and for eight years directed AdventureX - the Narrative Games Convention, an internationally recognised sell-out event. Tom was previously at Supermassive Games where he was a designer on the BAFTA award-winning horror game Until Dawn and artist on Killzone Shadow Fall.
Mayur Patel
Head of School of Computing & Mathematical Sciences, University of Greenwich
Professor Mayur Patel leads the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at the University of Greenwich. With over 30 years in computational modelling, he combines strong computational skills with extensive physical and mathematical modelling expertise. Throughout his career, he has developed and applied state-of-the-art Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software utilising sophisticated numerical techniques and algorithms. Professor Patel has designed and implemented CFD software across numerous application areas, with particular focus on process modelling and Fire Safety modelling. His comprehensive knowledge and practical experience have established him as a respected leader in computational science.
Peter Griffiths
Pro Vice-Chancellor, University of Greenwich
Professor Peter Griffiths serves as Pro Vice Chancellor of the Faculty of Engineering and Science at the University of Greenwich. His scientific journey began with an undergraduate research project on ferrofluids, leading to a PhD from the University of Bristol (1991) focused on NMR and scattering methodology. His research expanded through postdoctoral positions at Bristol (1991-1993) and the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (1993-1995). Appointed lecturer at Cardiff University in 1995, Professor Griffiths developed research interests in drug delivery systems, including polymer-drug conjugates, small molecule gels, and vesicle dispersions. His significant contributions to science and education have been recognised with numerous honours, including a DSc (Bristol, 2005), a "docenture" (Stockholm, 2005), and Fellowship of the Royal Society of Chemistry (2002). He has also received distinguished service awards from both the SCI and RSC for his outstanding contributions to the field of nanotechnology.
