About the lecture:

The world has reached an inflection point where mistruths and fake news have become the new norm. Public confidence and trust in government and corporate behaviour is at an all-time low. We’re now part of the ‘demand’ generation where society expects to be treated with honesty, empathy, compassion and respect.

The way we communicate with each other with meaning and purpose needs to change and its need to change now. This lecture will cover:

  • the critical role of authentic communications in rebuilding and regaining the trust of a disenfranchised society.
  • the importance of soft skills in developing your personal and professional networks.
  • and why the forgotten art of writing will become ever more important in connecting communities as we transition more towards a virtual economy.
