This activity takes place online The Three Minute Thesis is research communication competition that challenges PhD students to present their thesis and its significance to a panel of judges and an audience in just 3 minutes. PhD students who participate in the competition could be in with a chance of winning funding towards attending a conference or training event to further their research. This session will provide you with an introduction to the competition, including eligibility criteria, the rules and the benefits of participating. You will also get to hear from previous participants about their experience of being in the competition. Courses are free for all staff and PGRs. Please note, however, your Faculty/Directorate will be charged if you fail to attend or cancel without a justifiable reason, within the timeframe specified in the Training Events Cancellation guidelines.
