The university Diversity Interest Group (DIG) and the LGBT+ Staff Community are hosting this online seminar about understanding the experience of transgender persons in work and healthcare.

We are delighted to be joined by

  • Dr Sam Martin, University of Oxford, to discuss 'Understanding the reality of trans healthcare: Building empathy for trans and gender diverse young people'
  • Prof Alex Beauregard, Birkbeck University and Dr Lilith Whiley, Kingston University, discussing 'The transgender employee journey'
  • and Reid Dudley-Peirson, University of Greenwich, with 'Personal Reflections'.

Followed by a panel discussion.

The event will be hosted online via MS Teams.
