Catherine joined University of Greenwich in January 2011 as a Visiting Lecturer, becoming a Teaching Fellow in September 2019.  She has taught at both Undergraduate and Masters’ level in HROB and EIB departments within the Business School and has been a module leader for a variety of modules at both UG and PG level.

Her specialisms are Organisational Behaviour, Organisational Development and HR having been a Resourcing Manager and an HR and Business Consultant in the Retail and Financial Sectors in her early career.  She is also a qualified coach and a member of the University Coaching Network.

Catherine provided Research support on a range of projects run by Professors David Gray (dec), Mark Saunders and Barry Curnow looking into Coaching Identity and Coaching Effectiveness.

Catherine has a long career in School Governance at both Primary and Secondary level and has until recently been Chair of Thomas Tallis School, a large creative secondary in SE London.  She was also a National Leader in Governance for 5 years from 2014-2019 and supported governing bodies in improving their school outcomes.

Research / Scholarly interests

Cath is currently pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Organisational Psychology and am working on a range of practical OD projects including the introduction of Job Families to support Career Development within the University and a student peer mentoring scheme.
