Sue Lawrence BSc, PGCert HE

Senior Lecturer in Midwifery

Sue is a Senior Lecture in Midwifery. This is a 2 year secondment and she has been in post for 12 months. She teaches in all aspects of midwifery and her special interest is in postnatal care and early neonatal care. She is currently undertaking an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Sue is also a Maternity Matron at St Thomas' Hospital/London.

Responsibilities within the university

Sue is currently working as the Link Tutor for a piloted Midwifery Degree Apprenticeship. She has been responsible for helping to set up and recruit into this pilot at the university. She has been working with the students within the university and visiting them in their areas of practice in line with the apprenticeship regulations.
