Senior Lecturer Quantity Surveying

Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with both academic and industry experience. Academic experience includes developing and leading core QS topics covering the commercial and contractual aspects of quantity surveying in further and higher education environments. Also previously registered as an APM(P) trainer and an AMPG Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) trainer.

Construction industry experience includes roles as a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager gained on national and international projects for clients including McDonalds, Shell, United Biscuits, Phillips Petroleum and the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. The type of projects includes cathodic protection, petrol station refurbishments, new residential tower blocks, retail outlets and a combined cycle power plant.

Responsibilities within the university

  • Module Leadership roles include Measurement, Advanced Measurement, Contract Practice Law and Administration, Quantity Surveying Practice 2, Quantity Surveying Practice 3 and Construction Economics.
