Angeliki Voskou has a degree in Greek Philology (Major: Classical Studies) from the University of Crete (Greece), Med (MA in Education) in International Studies in Education: Management and Policy, and a PhD in Education, both from the Department of Education and Social Justice, University of Birmingham. She is currently a Lecturer in Learning and Teaching at Academic and Learning Enhancement (ALE, University of Greenwich), being the Course lead of 'Curriculum Design & Enhancement in Higher Education'. She is co-organising the Universities at Medway Teaching and Learning Conference, she is a co-editor of the Compass: Journal of Learning and Teaching, and she is also co-leading pedagogical research within ALE.


Angeliki has extensive teaching experience in various educational settings, including Higher Education in both UK and Cyprus. In Higher Education, she has previously held positions as a Lecturer on History and Identities in Education (Private HE Institution, Cyprus), and as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Birmingham (School of Education: Courses ‘Equality and Diversity: Children, Family and Society’ and ‘Academic Studies in Education, Widening Horizons’; Graduate School: students’ academic and professional development), and at the Centre of Learning and Teaching, University of Cyprus (Courses on students’ academic development). Angeliki was also involved in academics’ professional development, curriculum development and programmes’ and Schools’ Accreditation (Private tertiary institution and University of Cyprus). She has also worked as a teacher in Greek Community Schools in UK for five years (appointed by the Cyprus Educational Mission).
