Dr Rachel George is a Senior Lecturer in HE Learning and Teaching, based in Academic and Learning Enhancement. Rachel teaches on the PGCert in HE and leads the University Award in Learning and Teaching in HE. Rachel supports applications for the AdvanceHE accredited GOLD Fellowship scheme and for the UKAT professional recognition scheme for personal tutors. Rachel is Co-Editor of Compass, Journal of Learning and Teaching in HE and Co-Chair of the Staff Wellbeing Network.

Rachel has held university roles such as School Quality Lead, Programme Leader for UG Psychology and dissertation supervisor for doctoral and masters students. Rachel is an experienced External Examiner and External Assessor.
