Dr Ivana Tomic BSc, MSc, PhD

Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security (Internet of Things Security)

Ivana Tomić is a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Security and a member of the Centre for Sustainable Cyber Security (CS2) at the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Science, University of Greenwich. Her research interests span the areas of control engineering, cyber-security and wireless communication networks, with a focus on building secure, resilient and energy-efficient cyber-physical systems.

She has published her research in top-tier journals including ACM TCPS, IEEE TII and IEEE IoT.

Before joining the University of Greenwich, she was a Research Associate in the Computing Department at Imperial College London (AESE research group). During her time at Imperial College, she worked as a research associate on the S4: Science of Sensor Systems Software EPSRC programme grant and the IoT in the Park project as a part of the EPSRC PETRAS IoT research hub. She was a Co-I on Fog to the Field project championed by Cisco. Dr Tomić received a PhD in Control Engineering from City, University of London in 2016.
