Nathaniel Nsen Fuanbial

PhD Researcher

A professional manager and a maritime services specialist, with 5 years of proven track record in service delivery in a shipping Agency company in Nigeria and 1-year post NYSC experience in a government ministry in Gombe state Nigeria. I have also high inter personal and communication skills with a can-do character which I gained from the "how may I help you" training by MTN Nigeria and from the continuing mandatory training for upgrade by NIM in the area of team work and leadership.
Furthermore, I am a graduate of the university of Jos Nigeria where I obtained a BSc in Business management in 2007, and a Proficiency in Management in 2009 from the Nigerian Institute of management (NIM) Chartered. After which I proceeded to Lagos Nigeria to work for Blueline Agency Nigeria Limited. I then proceeded to the Maritime Academy of Nigeria Oron and obtained a post graduate diploma in shipping and transport management in 2012. In 2014, I gained admission at the University of Greenwich London and obtained a Master of Art in International Maritime Policy.
I am currently studying at the University of Greenwich London MPhil/ PhD (in view) from the department of History Politics and social sciences with emphasis on maritime policy and my Research Topic is; The Role of inland container depots on port congestion, port management/operation and economic development in Nigeria. My research will further expose the environmental and economic benefits of building an inland container depot in the hinterland connected by rail to reduce port congestion, reduce transportation cost for shippers,facilitated cargo distribution and improve the economy of the nation as well.
