Careers and Employability

TLDRoffon

Find out more on how our Employability service can support you throughout your entire degree, helping you feel confident in building your future career.

Our aim is to help our students work towards entering good careers after they have completed their studies. We support students, helping them to find placements, internships and graduate roles as well as providing practical advice on writing CVs and preparing them for assessment centres and interviews.

Did you know? We were NUE Awards finalists in 2018 for the Best University Careers/ Employability Service.

Our programmes are specifically designed to meet the changing demands of the world of work as well as equipping graduates with the ability to operate effectively outside of their own countries. We provide our students with a thorough understanding of the international context in which business operates.

We provide an environment that allows our students to maximise their potential. The behaviours, values, skills and attributes that we expect our students to develop will prepare them for future careers.

Approximately 78% of our graduates are productively engaged in employment within six months of graduation or have continued studying to a higher level.

We provide undergraduates with the opportunity to take part in a wide variety of schemes and activities from the start of their studies. Some schemes include:

  • Placement Scheme
  • Internships
  • Erasmus (Student Exchange Programme)
  • Greenwich Employability Passport
  • Mentoring Scheme
