Dr Maria Nikolaidi speaks at the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on the Green New Deal

On 15 November 2023, Dr Maria Nikolaidi presented her Women’s Budget Group report on ‘Macrofinancial policies for a green and caring economy’ at one of the meetings of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on the Green New Deal. In her talk, she explained how the UK fiscal, monetary and financial policies can be fundamentally transformed to help address gender inequalities and support the decarbonisation of the UK economy.
