Digital Marketing Suite

The Digital Marketing Suite is a specialist space for students. Used by students on a number of our marketing degrees (and also by 'Gen C') it's built for collaboration, creative projects and hands-on work with industry-standard marketing tools.

Create, collaborate and analyse

A look inside the Digital Marketing Suite at Greenwich Business School, where marketing students work with professional analytics, creative and research software in a space designed for collaborative learning.

What's in the suite

The Digital Marketing Suite is a purpose-built room designed to give marketing students (either on those modules which use the space or for those who apply to volunteer with 'Gen C', our student agency) a working environment that reflects how agencies and marketing teams actually operate. It's set up for group work, creative sprints, hackathons and collaborative projects, with the tech to support all of it.

The core software is Mersive, which allows real-time screen sharing between students and instructors. Students can share their screens to pod monitors, beam work to the main teaching screen, or view each other's screens during group sessions. It makes collaborative work feel natural rather than clunky.

Alongside Mersive, the suite includes:

  • Tableau for marketing data visualisation and analytics
  • Adobe Creative Suite for creating advertising and campaign content
  • SPSS for statistical analysis
  • NVivo for consumer behaviour and qualitative research

How students use it

The suite is built into the curriculum on a number of Marketing and Advertising courses. Students use it for everything from analysing campaign data and building consumer profiles to developing creative briefs and presenting strategies as a team. For those on marketing courses (or other courses) which do not use the space as part of their course, they nonetheless have a chance to experience the space by applying to volunteer - on an extra-curricular basis - with Greenwich's own, student-led, marketing agency - 'Gen C'.

The space is designed to feel more like working in an agency than sitting in a lecture hall. In-class activities include agency simulations, creative sprints and hackathon-style sessions where students work in teams to solve marketing briefs under time pressure.

What it adds to your degree

Marketing is a hands-on discipline, and the suite reflects that. Students get practical experience with the same analytics and creative tools they'll encounter in graduate roles, whether that's in digital marketing, advertising, brand management, market research or social media strategy.

Working in the suite also builds the collaborative and presentation skills that marketing employers consistently look for. Group projects in this space mirror the kind of teamwork you'll be doing from day one in a professional environment.
