What are you up to now?
"I currently work in press for a company called Teach First. Each year we recruit, train and support new teachers to work in primary and secondary schools, serving low-income communities across England and Wales. I work in the communications and PR department – working alongside partners including the Government."
Tell us about your university experience?
"In 2013, I graduated with BA Hons Public Relations and Communications. I really enjoyed my time here, including the support of my lecturers. If they see potential in you, they will push you to achieve your best."
Were you working part-time during your time as a Greenwich Student?
"I worked as a Student Job Shopper at the university to help improve my work experience. The university will give you the skills to be employable, push you to network and encourage you to get internships. The universities Alumni services shares job opportunities and event information, and often reconnects with graduates at networking events."
How did you balance employment with full-time studies?
"Most student-based jobs allow you to choose your hours. This helps with your workload for projects and so forth. I used to be a Student Ambassador so I was able to work for the university while also studying at it."
