The Generator's annual Venture Crawl event was back this month with students jumping on a London bus to tour local businesses. Forty-two students took part in the event and visited some amazing businesses including Woolwich Works, Black Cultural Archives, Cockpit Arts and Meta. Throughout the day they met business leaders, employees and other students while having the opportunity to ask questions, network and gain a deeper understanding of how these businesses work on a day-to-day basis. The tickets sold out within 30 minutes of them going live making it one of the most popular events held by the Generator.

Venture Crawl was founded by King's College London in 2017 and is a day trip where students from different universities tour businesses on a London bus. The event is an exploration of entrepreneurial ecosystems where students are invited to immerse themselves in the world of entrepreneurship and innovation and be inspired by the stories of real entrepreneurs and founders.

The event was followed by a pitching competition at King's College London where previous Enterprise Challenge winner Danielle Bodjo pitched her African print loungewear business. This was followed by drinks and networking with over 200 students from other London universities giving attendees a great networking opportunity.
