Learn something new from our experts
After the success of last year’s Medway Talks lecture series, a new initiative from the Universities at Medway, we are excited to announce that we will again be running these unique open lectures, and our dates for the 2023-2024 series have been set.
For another year, academic staff from the Universities at Medway will share their expertise with anyone in the community wanting to enjoy a different kind of evening out and learn something new about a fascinating topic, often one that is very relevant to current affairs. Lectures are free to attend, refreshments are provided, and free on-site parking will be available.
For a glimpse of what to expect from the series, why not watch a recording from one of last year’s talks, led by Professor Gurprit Lall of the Medway School of Pharmacy? His intriguing talk delved into the science of sleep to answer a key question: Just how important is sleep, anyway?
