MFA Everywhere: Logging into Podium PCs using MFA

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) gives us an additional layer of security when logging into our systems and services. You need to use MFA to sign in to our Podium PCs. Find out more here.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) has proven to be a key factor in preventing cyber-attacks. We already use it so you can log into our systems from anywhere, and you need to use MFA to log into Podium PCs in your teaching spaces.

Switch on your authenticator app notifications

We recommended that all our staff and students use the Microsoft Authenticator app set to 'receive notifications for verification' as it provides the fastest and easiest method of MFA approval. You also need to approve location sharing for MFA to work for you.

Find out how to set up the Microsoft Authenticator app on your devices here.

All university campus locations require MFA

You will be prompted to sign in using multi-factor authentication when you are accessing services and systems on campus. This includes shared service areas at Medway including Drill Hall Library.
