Our digital change windows: delivering our digital strategy

Sometimes our work to upgrade or maintain our digital systems is complex and requires an extended period of time to complete. Here we share how you can help us by avoiding these dates for assignment deadlines, events and other activities

We aim to keep our systems available for our staff and students to use when they need them. Sometimes we have to arrange downtime for maintenance and improvement. Our Tuesday and Thursday at-risk mornings from 7-9 am are used to maintain and update our systems on a regular basis. We sometimes need longer periods to make more complex changes.

Avoid scheduling activity during our Saturday digital change windows

We plan these periods in advance and ask colleagues to avoid arranging key events such as assignment hand in dates over these times.

Saturday 27 February 2027
