Celebrating the GRAFTAs at Greenwich

This year our BAFTA-style Film and Television Awards took place as part of the opening night for the School of Design's End of Year Show 2019.

Best Producer

Judged by BAFTA nominated producers Catherine Slater & Sophie Alexander, our winner is Amelia Vincent for Hiraeth.

Best Sound Award

Judged by Lipsynch: David Coultas, Creative Producer and Business Development, our winner is Minenhle Sindane for Hiraeth.  

Screenplay

Judged by Shedunnit Productions: Dr Helen Jacey, Screenwriter & Story Consultant, our winner is Miranda Glasheen for How to Bury Your Sins.

Production Design

Judged by WizzoandCo: Oian Arteta, Production Designer, our winner is Alice Cafferty-Koc for Hireath.

Best Post Production

Judged by ENVY Post Production: Tom Morgan, Head of Client Services, our winner is Jesse Gomez for Hiraeth.

Best Cinematography Award

Judged by Panavision: Maria Eilbracht, Commercials Marketing – New Business & Emerging Talent & Matthew Collis, Technical Marketing Commercials, our winner is Nicholas Rees for Hiraeth.

Directing Award

Judged by Edinburgh TV Festival: Sarah Vignoles, Talent Schemes Producer, our winner is Julian Schwandner for Hiraeth.

Broadcast Award

Judged by London Live: Lorna Cole, Content & Partnerships Manager, the film chosen was How to Bury Your Sins.

Student Choice award

This award was sponsored and presented by Twenty Twenty: Vicky Bennetts & Hattie Wood, Talent Manager.  The film chosen on the evening of the event was Nihil.
