To achieve this, a new section 'D3 Exceptional Circumstances' has been added to the Academic Regulations for Taught Awards, which includes provision for the consideration of grades, progression and awards in the unlikely but possible event that usual procedures cannot be undertaken and details the process by which these may be considered.
