Getting Covid-tested regularly to help keep us all safe #1

TLDRoffon

Students and staff members share their experience of getting regular Covid tests - remember if you're coming to campus, please get tested twice a week to keep everyone safe.

A key part to a safe campus is ensuring that we all have regular Covid tests.

It's easy to take a Covid test at any of our campuses and free for all students and staff, you can read more about Covid testing arrangements and how to get home test kits on our web pages.

Thank you to everyone who has already completed weekly Covid testing survey, here we share feedback from our staff and students about their experiences of getting tested.

Please continue to complete the survey each week to let us know about the Covid tests you are taking - and to enter the weekly prize draw of 10 x£10 Amazon vouchers.

The staff who work in the centre are friendly and efficient and it only takes a minute or two. A regular negative result also provides a bit of reassurance!

I feel it is important to be accountable and I’m sure that the data helps the University with planning to keep us all as safe as possible.

Laura Martin, student

I have been doing weekly LF tests at the Deep End since returning to work on campus after Christmas, it has been reassuring to know that I have not been infectious and I am not putting anyone at risk by spreading Covid.  The tests are quick and easy once you get used to what you are doing.

Natalie Morley, member of staff

Very easy to use and done within minutes!

Kevin Lam, member of staff

I am part of the Office for National Statistics and Oxford University Covid-19 infection survey and have been for about a year now and happy to be an active part of testing.

Sue Edwards, member of staff

Thank you to everyone completing regular testing and helping to keep each other safe.
