Hack for Good, a new weekend bootcamp (apply by 2 February at the latest)

This new bootcamp will give 60 students the chance to create social enterprises - businesses that exist primarily to address social problems - in just three days.

Hack for GoodWe're looking for students to take part who are interested in creating social enterprises that tie in with one of the following themes:

  • Climate Change
  • Care Innovation, including new ways to care for the ageing population, disabled people and children
  • Knife Crime
  • Affordable Housing
  • Local Poverty
  • Health and Wellbeing, including physical and mental health

We're pleased to be partnering with City University and London Met Accelerator. 

There are 20 spaces on offer to University of Greenwich students – as space is limited apply now if you'd like to take part, and definitely apply by 2 February.

Successful applicants will get the chance to work in teams and share their experience with students from the three universities involved. No prior experience is necessary; expert facilitators and mentors will be there to guide you through the process.

Social entrepreneurship is a fantastic vehicle for learning a huge array of skills, developing yourself personally and applying your ideas and time to create positive social change in your area.
