Our new staff benefit: Drive a better car with Tusker

We’ve teamed up with Tusker, the UK’s leader in salary sacrifice cars, to bring you an exciting new car scheme.

This fully inclusive motoring package lets you choose a brand-new electric car, fully maintained while benefiting from income tax and National Insurance savings.

What’s does salary sacrifice mean and how does it work?

Salary sacrifice is a popular and easy way to drive a brand-new electric car.

A monthly amount is taken directly from your gross salary (before tax and National Insurance) and in return you choose a brand-new or pre-loved car, without the need to pay any deposit.

What else does it include?

The car scheme includes much more than the car. Your single monthly amount also covers:

  • Insurance
  • Maintenance
  • Tyres
  • MOT
  • Road tax
  • Roadside assistance and more

Is it more expensive to go electric?

A brand-new electric vehicle (EV) costs less than a petrol or diesel equivalent on the scheme[1]. Although you will need to pay Benefit in Kind tax, the government has agreed to keep these rates low for EVs until 2030 to help more people make the switch.

Stock and pre-loved cars are also available*

Stock cars are brand-new vehicles that are already built and ready to hit the road, with delivery typically in just 6–8 weeks. Pre-loved cars have had a previous owner and are ready to be re-loved. They’re Tusker cars with a full-service history that have been handpicked for their condition and quality.

How do I choose my new car?

Once you’ve logged in to the car scheme through your mylifestyle benefits portal, update your details and you’re ready to view all the available cars and get a quote.

If you log in before 31 March 2026, you’ll automatically be entered into a competition for the chance to win a £100 Amazon gift card.**

Does the scheme impact my pension?

The scheme does impact your pension. Please refer to the Tusker FAQs page point 8 - About Scheme - Tusker for further details.
