Aboard the Blue Clipper in the Tall Ships Regatta Articles

Novice sailor, Eduardo Revolo, who has just finished his second year of a BA Hons in international business and Anna Rabiej, a first year student in tourism management were two of our students who were successful applicants.

Although Eduardo had never sailed before in his life he thoroughly enjoyed the experience and said "after two weeks at sea you change your perspective on many things. Probably the most important thing is that you realise that you can achieve something that you have never thought about before. You learn to think on your feet because you have to react quickly if things are going wrong on the boat."

Anna too enjoyed the experience and described it as an experience she'd recommend to anyone, saying "we quickly had to learn how to work as a team to do the many jobs on the boat.  Doing this has also taught me to say yes to every opportunity in life because experiences are the best teachers."
