#GreStartUp

#GreStartUp is a 3 day bootcamp where students work in teams to learn how to come up with business ideas, how to test them and how to pitch them!

Do you ever spot problems you think you could solve?
Are you passionate about using your creativity and skills to make a difference?
Have you ever come up with a business or social idea that you've been too shy to share?
Have you ever wished it was easier to share ideas with students from different courses?

If you've answered 'yes' to any of the above you should take part in #GreStartUp – an enterprise bootcamp that will help you to pitch, test and launch your business idea in just one weekend.

The bootcamp is suitable for students from all different courses (not just business subjects) as you'll learn everything you need to know during the event.

During the bootcamp you will:

  • Learn about the lean canvas one page business plan and apply this to your own idea.
  • Go off campus to interview customers to get feedback on your concept.
  • Meet other students from different courses and form teams with them.
  • Get expert advice from a team of mentors from a variety of industries.
  • Pitch your idea to a judging panel and guest audience, giving you valuable presentation skills that you can take to any job.
  • Find out about potential sources of funding to help you to take your idea forwards after the weekend (including our own Enterprise Challenge competition).
