#GreStartUp is an enterprise bootcamp that will teach you to pitch, test and launch your business idea in just one weekend. Working in teams with students from across the university, you'll come up with viable ideas that could become real businesses. At the end of the event, you'll pitch your ideas in the grand finals for a chance to win prizes.
The bootcamp is suitable for students from all different courses (not just business subjects), as you'll learn everything you need to know during the event.
During the bootcamp you will:
- Learn about the Lean Model Canvas one-page business plan and apply this to your own idea.
- Go off campus to interview customers to get feedback on your concept.
- Meet other students from different courses and form teams with them.
- Get expert advice from a team of mentors from a variety of industries.
- Pitch your idea to a judging panel and a guest audience, giving you valuable presentation skills that you can take to any job.
- Find out about potential sources of funding to help you take your idea forward after the weekend (including our own Enterprise Challenge competition).
