G-Wizards

An introduction to University of Greenwich’s School of Computing & Mathematical Sciences’ G-Wizards

The Faculty of Architecture, Computing and Humanities' GWizards initiative gives businesses and other organisations access to talented, supervised and highly motivated University of Greenwich students and recent graduates for specific development projects.

GWizards can provide low cost (and often no cost) solutions to IT issues being experienced by local charities, social enterprises, and not-for-profit organisations. Recent projects undertaken by GWizards students have included the development of websites, database applications and digital media resources for charities.

GWizards can also provide support for pre-commercial and proof of concept development tasks as part of their supervised final year/Master's level projects. Recent projects for local enterprises have included proof of concept developments for a medical app, a church tourism app and cross-platform mobile app environments.

GWizards can give your organisation access to bright students and recent graduates from a wide range of specialist areas including: mathematics; statistics; computer science; software engineering; information systems; networking; computer security and forensics; digital media; and film/TV production.

GWizards operates from offices in the Historic Royal Naval College at Greenwich and the Digital Enterprise Greenwich (DEG) at the Greenwich Peninsula.
