Legal Advice Centre

Partners

At the University of Greenwich we work with a number of partners to provide students with the opportunity to undertake a placement as part of their final year studies. We are always looking for additional partners to provide places for students in their final year. Students volunteer for one day a week in term time. For more information please email the Legal Work Placement course leader, Beverley Witter B.Witter@greenwich.ac.uk

Feedback on our students is excellent. One of our students was shortlisted as the best student of the year in the annual national Attorney General & Lawworks Pro Bono Awards in 2017 for her work with Greenwich Advocacy for Disabled People.

We have placed students with the following organisations:

Burke Niazi, Lewisham Legal Department, RBG Legal Department, RBG Welfare Rights Service, Greenwich Advocacy for Disabled People, Greenwich Money Advice, Plumstead Law Centre, Greenwich Money Advice Service, Seafarers Citizens Advice, the HER Centre, Woolwich Citizens Advice, Bromley Citizens Advice, Working Families, Mary Ward Legal Centre, Greenwich Housing Rights and Greenwich Migrant Hub.
