A new partnership which aims to help international students start their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, has been agreed between University of Greenwich and Oxford International.

University of Greenwich International College (UGIC) will welcome its first group of students in September 2018. The new international college will be delivered on the main campus at University of Greenwich, a UNESCO world heritage site, and will welcome international students from around the world to study undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.

UGIC will prepare students from outside the UK to continue onto University of Greenwich undergraduate and postgraduate programmes by developing students' university level study skills and their English language level. Undergraduate students can choose from subjects relating to business and management, engineering, science, computing, and social sciences and law. Postgraduate students can choose to study business and management related degrees.

Professor David Maguire, Vice-Chancellor of University of Greenwich, says: "The university is delighted to be launching this new college at our Greenwich campus jointly with Oxford International.  It will provide the opportunity for more international students from all over the world to benefit from a high-quality education at a leading London university."

UGIC will be managed by Oxford International Education Group, an accredited education provider with over 25 years' experience in international education and operations in the UK, Canada and the US.

David Brown, President and Co-Founder of Oxford International Education Group, adds: "Our new partnership with University of Greenwich is a natural fit for Oxford International and is a great addition to our portfolio of a small number of university partners. With each partnership we pride ourselves on working collaboratively with our university colleagues to deliver an attractive range of programmes that support the needs of international students."

Recruitment of students for UGIC is now open.
