Discover what Greenwich has to offer at the first Open Day of 2019

On Saturday 2 March the University of Greenwich is throwing open its doors to prospective students with its first Open Day of the year.

Potential students and their families will be able to find out what's on offer at the university, as well as in Greenwich and the surrounding area.

It's a chance to explore the history of the iconic campuses and chat to current students and staff to get a feel for what student life is really like.

Ryan Casey Brice, a second year Creative Writing student at the university, credits attending an Open Day with helping him decide to choose Greenwich. He said:

"The Open Day I attended back in 2015 took a huge part in my choosing which university I would come to.

"I felt it was very beneficial to be able to speak to both current students who took my course and to academics about what I could expect during my degree, and how I could use what I knew already, and build upon it.

"I was glad of the opportunity to look around the university after the tour to fully appreciate the beauty of the campus.

"Now I'm a student here, I'm grateful of the creative freedom I have within my degree and the wealth of social and academic opportunities I'm able to take. I've thrown myself into involvement with the Students' Union and am proud to call this university my home."
