Alex Wilding

Alex is an entrepreneur, counsellor, filmmaker and Enterprise and Communications Adviser at the Generator. He supports and coaches student entrepreneurs, freelancers and early-stage founders with idea development, storytelling, investment readiness and communications.

Having been an award-winning student entrepreneur himself, Alex understands the challenges of starting a venture while studying. He has founded several ventures, including Vidicrew, a web and app platform with which he raised SEIS and EIS investment, and the London Documentary Network CIC, a community of over 2,000 filmmakers.

Alex brings practical founder experience alongside a holistic approach to enterprise support, informed by his background in counselling and therapeutic arts. He enjoys helping students connect with their purpose, understand their “why” and build ventures that feel meaningful, sustainable and aligned with who they are.

He also oversees content, marketing and communications for the Generator team.
