I hold an MSc in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Goldsmiths, University of London. I previously served as Module Lead for Statistics and Statistical Data Mining at Goldsmiths, University of London, and as Co-Lead and Teaching Assistant for Machine Learning and Data Mining. Before moving into academia, I worked for Ankara Metropolitan Municipality for eight years as a Statistician and Data Analyst, applying data analytics, statistical modelling and machine learning techniques to support workforce planning and strategic decision-making. My academic interests include machine learning, data mining, statistics, artificial intelligence and applied data science.
Responsibilities within the university
Lecturer responsible for the design and development of COMP1962 – Mathematics, Statistics and Programming for Data Science, part of the online MSc Data Science programme. Duties include curriculum development, teaching and tutorial guidance, examining, and administration, alongside contribution to research and scholarly activity, in accordance with standard Lecturer responsibilities at the University of Greenwich.
