PhD researcher

My PhD, supervised by Rob Calvert Jump, investigates macroeconomic data revisions: how estimates of key economic indicators shift as statistical agencies revise them over time. I am currently working on a replication piece across published studies in this area, testing whether their conclusions hold once data revisions are properly accounted for. Alongside this I have developed MacroTrace, a Python package for revision-aware macroeconomic time-series analysis, published to PyPI

Research / Scholarly interests

  • Macroeconomic data revisions and their implications for empirical research, including how conclusions drawn from initial data releases hold up once estimates are revised
  • Replication and robustness in applied macroeconomics
  • Reproducible research tooling and computational methods for revision-aware time-series analysis
